First Step Ballet School is dedicated to classical ballet education and nurturing young talents. Following the RAD syllabus, our experienced teachers encourage students to achieve their personal best in a safe and well-equipped environment. Pre-School Dance (PSDI & II)

Engaging classes designed for young children to foster creativity and a love for dance.

Our Pre-School Dance course inspires creativity through joyful classical ballet learning. At this level, students learn to:

• Move with control, co-ordination and confidence

• Develop body and spatial awareness

• Enhance musicality and rhythm through movement

• Express feelings and emotions through dance

RAD Demonstration Class Pre-school Dance Curriculum

Pre-School Dance Curriculum (PSD) Age Requirement: 2.5 or above

RAD Class Awards

A gentle introduction to formal RAD ballet, focusing on foundational technique, correct posture, and musical expression

Pre-Primary In Dance (PPID)

Foundational Ballet Technique: Introduce basic classical ballet steps, posture, and alignment through the RAD syllabus.
Coordination & Flexibility: Enhance body coordination, balance, and flexibility through structured movement exercises.
Musicality & Expression: Develop a strong sense of rhythm and musical response set to various music series.
Confidence & Performance: Build self-confidence, spatial awareness, and classroom discipline in a supportive environment.

Pre-Primary In Dance (PPID) Age Requirement: 5 or above

RAD Graded and General Examination

The curriculum focuses on classical ballet technique and character dance from Grade 1 onwards. Successful candidate will receive an officially certified RAD result statement, certificate, and medal.
