Step into Arts, our Shatin Branch opened in 2016, inherits the spirit of First Step Ballet School to foster whole person education. We provide not only recognized ballet and English course to children, but also fitness and dance programme to adult.
Adult Ballet
The education of Ballet is never confined to children. With training and devotion, adult-learners can also master the gracefulness of this classical beauty. Not only does Ballet improve one's body figure, it also enhances one's confidence and elegance. Designed for adult-beginners and intermediate learners, our adult ballet course teaches foundational movements and techniques, such as weight placement, balance, jumps, and turns.
DANCE FIT (ADULT)
Zumba Dance
Zumba Dance is designed to benefit you through a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Through energizing Latino music and rhythmic steps, our Zumba class mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
First Step English
Jolly Phonics (Age: 3+)
Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method using songs, body movements, and stories is very motivating for children and teachers. The programme builds a solid foundation for children’s essential grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
